Strolling in July
A basket of dolls visited Cowichan Lake and strolled along the boardwalk…
.
.
…lunched at the Duncan Garage…
…rode the Mill Bay Ferry…
.
.
…and ate a lovely snack at the Seahorses Cafe.
.
.
In the evening, Constance and Hitty Freddie sat on a Garry Oak limb…
.
.
…and on the Ogden Point Lighthouse.
.
.
They spotted a Heron…
.
.
and a spectacular fogbow…
.
.
…and enjoyed the cool sea breezes, while the setting sun warmed their backs.

Lovely.
It was a delightful day!
No Hitty in her right mind would passup such a beautiful daytrip!!!! And they both looked very lovely for the occasion ❤️
There was quite a vociferous discussion about who would get to go on the trip with us on the daytime trip, but only Constance and Freddie were up for the evening stroll!
Sounds like a wonderful day, though tiring for humans. Hittys rarely seem tired in my experience.
Hittys seem tireless, especially a couple of block twins I could mention…They are a good inspiration!
Visiting the Quimper HIttys and their human must be like a wonderful adventure. So much to see and enjoy. Happy to see everyone having such a lovely time in such a lovely place.
We are always glad to have visitors! It is fun to see our neighbourhood through fresh eyes once in a while!
The two households do seem to be getting around a lot….such good memories are being created. It’s lovely to have close friends.
It has been a lovely visit, alas now coming to a close…
Thank you for a lovely day and for being such a gracious guide and hostess. I am enjoying your blogs of our adventures and sharing them with family members. The memories and experiences are much vivider with your evocative photos.
It was fun showing you some of our favourite places, and really happy you and your Hittys were here to give us the excuse to visit them!
