Many Pennies

Problem

Little Penny’s relatives needed attention…

.

.

Fill

…so I applied some wood-filler…

.

.

Paint

…trimmed and sanded the crowns of their heads, and splashed on a little paint.

.

.

Faces

Finally I gave them little faces….now we have a handful of Little Pennies, but not everyone is happy about it!

.

.

Old

There was an old woman…

.

.

Home

…who lived in a shoe.

.

.

Children

She  had so many children…

.

.

What to do?

…she didn’t know what to do!

.

.

Having Way Too Much Fun!

  1. Despite the sour look on the old woman’s face, she is surrounded by a happy abundance of smiles and as you stated, “fun”. Also, what doll wouldn’t love living in that fancy red shoe?

    • Isn’t that a wonderful shoe? It is a Lancashire clog, one of a pair I bought when I lived in England…If I was small and had to live in a shoe, I’d definitely pick that one!

  2. Does the Old Woman need a little touch up to her lipstick to shift her grimace into a smile now that she has so many charming children living with her? And, perhaps the other shoe could join the first to make her home space a little more roomy? I love what you have done with her children!

  3. that is just perfect! I laughed when confronted with your cranky old woman and her wayyyy too many children!! Very funny and the little pennies are adorable!

    • I thought she was perfect for the rôle – her expression is priceless…I can see her going to get her broom to sweep the little varmints out! The Pennies are a cute little bunch – I think they’ll be amusing us for a while!
