Guttersnipe and Mudlark had a visitor this afternoon…

…and they went on a jolly tour of the garden, starting by swinging on the Crocosmia!

Young human heard Guttersnipe ask for a close-up view of the Strawflower…

Sunflower

…and Mudlark wanted a little sit in the sunflower bower…

Perch

…they enjoyed the view from high up in the plants!

High and Low

Then they went higher but Guttersnipe fell out!!

They helped with the first veggie harvest…

chat

…then they put on their Nasturtium bonnets, drank some Alpine Campanula nectar, and chatted with the snapdragons for a while!

  2. So dear! I would really have enjoyed listening to the conversation between Mudlark, Guttersnipe and the Snapdragon blossoms. What tales would they have been telling and how would they have viewed the world?
