  1. Quimper Hittys should have no problem telling what time it is! You have such a fine variety of clocks that have come your way~so delightful to see them. Becky J

    • All the clocks are so small and delightful – the Mora clock is leftover from my mother’s dollhouse, and I have had it the longest, though the recently acquired Carriage clock is the oldest!

    • They are lucky little Hittys! Some are historic clocks, and some are new, and when someone asks what time it is, not one of the Hittys ever says just a minute, I’ll check my phone!

  2. Oh dear Hitty Lady, this post is amazing reminded me my Grandfather, there was a big and old clock in their home and I was watching him when he was busy with the clock… Thank you as always beautiful art/craft, story and photographs. Have a nice day, Love, nia

    • I love the mystery of the gears and springs, and the sound of the clocks being wound, and the cheerful ticking afterwards! My grandmother used to take apart clocks, but that was when she was a little child!

  3. Dearest Quimper Hittys
You are ladies (yes, Cooky, little girls too!) after our own hearts. We love traditional clocks. Their gentle, but audible tick-tocking is the sound of home.
We turned ours back a week ago as Greenwich Mean Time begins the last week of October over here.
    With love,
    Mary and Roberta xx

    • We agree about the sound of the tick-tocking…and I always wished we had a big grandfather clock in case we had Borrowers! But now I have Hittys in the house which is just as delightful!
