Lemon Snowballs!
Cooky was carved in the summertime this year so she has never experienced winter as a doll, though I do sometimes wonder what wooden dolls remember…do their xylems and phloems have memories from their time as a tree?

I lived in the mountains when I was a child, and we would get the first snowfall around this time of year. I was feeling nostalgic, so I made lemon snowball cookies…they were pretty delicious!

Lemon snowball cookies! What a lovely way to recall those nostalgic memories. Becky J
The cookies are pretty tasty – Lemon Snowball cookies are our new favourite!!
I would much rather have cookies than flakes!
It is much pleasanter getting rid of the cookies!
Oh my goodness, Cookie is utterly enchanting! It’s always such a delight to see her adventures.
For some Reason unknown to me Cooky seems to enjoy adventures in the kitchen!
What fun to have a sweet little companion in the kitchen!
It is fun – she is so small I have to really pay attention to where she is so she doesn’t fall into the cooky dough!!
What a lovely thought….and what a darling little friend. And those lemon snow ball cookies look quite yummy
We have a similar recipe for “Mexican Wedding Cakes” but flavoured with vanilla, and containing ground nuts…I may make them both this year in my Christmas baking!
Cooky is going to have an amazing first winter.
I think so too – Cooky does add a sweetness to the Hitty cupboard!
