Tatty and Dulcie have been invited to their friend Linnea’s house to celebrate the first night of Hanukkah!
Dulcie will go to live with Linnea some day when the littlest member of that family is more able to care for her. Meanwhile she and Tatty are learning some of the traditions in the household, and Tatty is particularly impressed with the tatty latkes for dinner!
I was just thinking that Tatty had the perfect dress for Hanukkah. The girls look so sweet. And how perfect to spend some time during the holiday with a dear friend.
I find I like coming to this blog in the evening. It is nice to be able to have something to smile about at the end of the day. Sweet picture, definitely made me smile.
Dear and quaint as always. I think it’s marvelous to be interested in the traditions of others. Lights, latkes, dreidels for all!
Yes!!! – lights, latkes and dreidels for all!
The girls look charming in their blue and white for Hanukkah. And you’re right – latkes should look lacy. Yum!
We thought it was a good first outing for Tatty’s dress!
