Oregonian Adventure
The Coho Ferry is underway! Constance shared my cup of tea, with just a splash of milk.
Constance and most of her Quimper Hitty Sisters have had a wonderful adventure – first they met their Bonsai Hitty friends in Washington State, and traveled with them to the coast of Oregon. On the way they visited the Needles and Haystack Rocks, which are reputed to have Tufted Puffin nesting populations…they did see a flock of ungainly flapping low-flying birds in the distance.
.
.
The Hittys were brought along as company to a week long workshop. During a Break they found a lovely rock – Oregon sure is beautiful.
.
.
The results of the workshop will be shown in the next day or two … after a week the Quimper Hittys traveled down the coast, stopping a couple of times.
.
.
It was nice to just relax on the beach for a while after a week of hard work.
.
.
On the last day of the adventure, Constance put on her moose-hide vest and beaded moccasins, and showed her special Gopher Blanket to an Archaeology Class at Oregon State University in Eugene before driving North again. Tired but very pleased with the week’s work, Constance and the Quimper Hittys are glad to be home again.

Sure looks like the Quimper girls had a wonderful adventure. As always, beautiful photographs and looking forward to seeing more.
They did have fun, even on the dark and stormy days!
What a wonderful trip! All that work certainly deserved some relaxation along the coast.
It was a wonderful trip, and we all had a great time, though I discovered that miles are much longer than kilometers…
Yes, much longer. But mph is faster… So it helps.
