Summer Flowers 4

Pelargonium.

Patience is interested in the Pelargonium.  Apparently it is named after a bird, the person giving it a scientific name in 1738 thought its’ seed head looks like a Stork’s beak!   Patience approves.

A few of the Quimper Hittys have gone off on an adventure.  They will return the second week of August, and meanwhile we have scheduled these posts about the summer flowers – some in our own back yard and others in nearby gardens…See you when we get back!
