Out Like a Lion
The storms of winter have continued right to the end of March…nevertheless, Patience, Min and Rose put on their raingear to visit the spring flowers in Beacon Hill Park…
Patience thinks Alpine Flowers are just the right height for Hittys …
.
.
Min thinks these flowers look so delicious, they ought to be edible…

The rafts of Fawn Lilies are glorious.

but when the heavens open, it is time to go back home!

A blustery spring. I hope none of the Hittys were blown over, or away. Lovely flowers though so really worth the expedition.
Everyone is home safe and only a little damp!
the flowers are beautiful but the Country Hittys and I are completely taken with those rain coats and hats!!!
Wonderful photos of the girls amid the blooms. So cute!!! Hope they are now all dry and cozy. Perhaps settling in for an afternoon nap with a cup of hot tea and a good book.
They aren’t napping but they are drinking tea. Constance is listening to the opera, and they are humouring her.
What beautiful flowers – the Quimper girls did good going to Beacon Hill. Good to know they are safe indoors, drinking hot tea and listening to opera with Constance.
The flowers here are quite different to the ones in your town! All’s dry in the Quimper Cupboard, and the opera was lovely!
