Buttercups
Walking home from work with me, Hattie hopped out of my pocket to admire the Buttercups in the Garry Oak meadow.
Simple but beautiful, many people consider it a weed. It’s scientific name Ranunculus means “Little Frog”
.
.
Hattie likes them!

Hattie’s looks blend so well with the rich colors of the Ranunculus as well as the succulent textiles that surround her. Natural beauty is so incredible as are your choices of cloth.
She’s a lovely companionable Hitty, and I am glad you like my placemats and dinner napkins!
I think a weed is only something you consider a nuisance, and if it is pretty and not a nuisance/pest then enjoy I say! A bit like the dandelions that cover our front lawn at times – they bring colour and provide the guinea pigs with food! Hattie looks like she is really enjoying them and has such a lovely smile.
Thanks – I like Hattie’s smile too, she seems so knowing and kind!
Hattie brought a smile to my face. She looks so pleased with the flowers. Here we have the ox eye daisies just beginning to bloom out in the hay fields. When the rain stops (badly needed rain) Marie Claire has asked to go
out and pick a bouquet. She so admires your Hattie. Altho of course that does not bring a smile to her face!! you know how Marie Claire is. Thanks for a walk in the “park”.
I am glad it is raining for you – we are enjoying a little sunshine! I hope you get out with Marie Claire eventually and find some pretty blooms in the hay field!
