Buttercup Heaven

Walking home from work with me, Hattie hopped out of my pocket to admire the Buttercups in the Garry Oak meadow.

Simple but beautiful, many people consider it a weed. It’s scientific name Ranunculus means “Little Frog”

  1. Hattie’s looks blend so well with the rich colors of the Ranunculus as well as the succulent textiles that surround her. Natural beauty is so incredible as are your choices of cloth.

  2. I think a weed is only something you consider a nuisance, and if it is pretty and not a nuisance/pest then enjoy I say! A bit like the dandelions that cover our front lawn at times – they bring colour and provide the guinea pigs with food! Hattie looks like she is really enjoying them and has such a lovely smile.

  3. Hattie brought a smile to my face. She looks so pleased with the flowers. Here we have the ox eye daisies just beginning to bloom out in the hay fields. When the rain stops (badly needed rain) Marie Claire has asked to go
out and pick a bouquet. She so admires your Hattie. Altho of course that does not bring a smile to her face!! you know how Marie Claire is. Thanks for a walk in the “park”.
