Waiting for a Quilt
The Quimper Hitty human received a packet of bright squares in the mailbox! How cheering in this dark November season.
The quilt will be for Carrot Soup, but first she has to practice patience since the Quimper Hitty human is awfully busy this week! Luckily she is happy to watch the (very slow) progress while reading a classic fairy tale book! This is the season for old tales and warm quilts I think…

They are cheerful, indeed! Those lovely oranges will really brighten the November gloom. We will practice patience, too, as we wait for the happy result.
We think they are cheerful too – we are hoping to sew a few stitches tomorrow as we travel to Vancouver for a workshop.
Carrot Soup will have fun choosing colours – orange, yellow and red maybe? Old tales and warm quilts is a lovely thought in these grey days.
We want to use as many colours as possible – the more, the cheerfuller we hope!
True to her name, Carrot Soup will have a pretty quilt in the colors she likes.
She loves those bright colours!
Looking forward to seeing your quilt-i-ness!
It will be a fun sewing project!
What a fun photo….Carrot Soup looks like she is perfectly happy to await The Quimper human’s talented hands.
And we, your devoted audience will also try to be patient.
Carrot Soup is happy about everything! She is just a happy girl!
