Viola’s violets
A sweet April morning…
.
.
…Viola just sat peacefully…
.
.
…then wandered among the flowers choosing one here and there…
.
.
…so many in the forest that a big bunch will not be missed…
.
.
…and a tussie-mussie of violets is enough to scent the Hitty cupboard with sweetness.
.

A delightful morning gathering violets. What fun!
We really enjoy violet-gathering season!
The violets are beautiful!
Thank you – they are so delicate, and they smell so nice – we love to see them in spring!
I love seeing them too! I saw the first ones this year earlier this week.
Viola looks beautiful among the violets!
I think so too – we love this time of year!
thank you for a visit with Viola and her lovely violets. She has the sweetest expression.
You are welcome – I also love Viola’s sweet face (and the wild violet in her hair!)!
There are violets here too but sadly they don’t have any fragrance! Yoiur posy looks so pretty and the cupboard must smell wonderful.
Did you know that some violets have a stronger fragrance before the dew has dried in the morning?
That is interesting. I have a very poor sense of smell these days so maybe they are fragrant and I just can’t smell them.
