Spring Weather Amble
A suddenly warm and sunny spring-like day enticed Floradora and Henrietta out for a lovely walk…
.
.
…up to Anderson Hill Park…
.
.
…where they found a patch of mini Daffodils…
.
.
…and climbed further up the bedrock outcrops…
.
.
…until they reached the top of the hill.
.
.
After being refreshed by the sunlit glow, they found their way back down...
.
.
…to a mossy glade…
.
.
…where they shared a thermos of tea and a white chocolate-peanut butter treat.

Mini thermos ππππ
The Hittys love their mini thermos…it makes hiking so much more pleasant when they can stop for a refreshment break! The thermos is made by Maileg
Thank you.
That was a bit of an arduous (and very enchanting) trek for the little wooden ladies. I’m not surprised that they needed and perhaps wanted such luscious restorative measures after their journey.
We were all enchanted by the warmth (!!!!) and resting in the mossy glade was delightful after the bright the sunlight! We’ve been living in a winter cave for so long!βThe tea and peanut butter cups were almost too much bliss!
This is a wonderful and cheering post. Thank you so much!
You are so welcome, we are always glad when our friends come along with us on our walks (and I believe we went to Anderson Park when you visited a few years ago)!
Like Dawn I love all the little artefacts your Hittys have!
The Hittys love them too! Maileg is a very tempting company for Hitty stuff. I have to watch my credit card!
What a lovely outing!
It was very lovely with the warmer weather, beautiful views, good company and restorative rest stops!
True confession: I have been searching for skirts like the ones the little ladies were wearing. I love the look with a cropped cardigan…so stylish.
what a marvelous ramble. I love the girls in their snug sweaters and that thermos is amazing!!!β
It felt like the first day of spring!
