After the farm, Holly and Coriander meandered down to Hope bay, where they found…

…a chocolate shop!

Enchanting

After they were stuffed with delicious chocolate starfish, candied ginger, mint coconut, and raspberry creams, they felt energetic enough to explore the enchanted forest!

On the way back they found some endangered snails…

They sat among the beautiful poppy flowers, but then had to run for the ferry…

…and as they sailed homewards, they snacked and chatted about the amazing time they had on Pender Island!

    • It was a good day! We were all tired at the end of it, but in a pleasant way…The chocolate was wonderful, and there were so many delicious options it was difficult to pick which ones we all wanted!

  3. we had ghost pipes on SSI and with two teens and a business were always running for a ferry. Those chocolates look yummy, nice of the girls to share.

    • Island life has its own pace doesn’t it? The Ghost plants are so interesting – we saw a bee inserting itself into the funnel part, and backing out laden with pollen.
