Crafty Calendar 2025 11 – 16
Number 11 in our 2025 Crafty Advent Calendar looks delicious, though we haven’t decided yet what to spread it on or dip into it…
.
.
…and meanwhile the Christmas baking has begun! Margaret helped with the currant cookies…
.
…and look what arrived in our Crafty Calendar on the 12th…
.
.
…the perfect mixture to add to Molasses spice cookies!
.
.
More kitchen deliciousness on the 13th – a big jar of spicy Cajun-style mixed spices – Margaret and Jane added a couple of spoonfuls into their current pot of baked beans!
.
.
Some people made lovely herbal concoctions for the advent Calendar – Cooky found the cutest home-made Shea Butter soap of all time in #14…
.
.
…while Coriander and Arianell think the Rosemary Salve on the 15th sounds like it will cure everything!
.
.
On December 16th, we opened our Hitty-sized copy of Pride and Prejudice for Jane Austen’s 250th birthday! We love the variety of little gifts – every day is a little bit of comfort and joy!
.
.
Thank you Crafty friends, and thanks especially to our crafty friend who organised it once again, and to her sister whose idea it was in the first place!

Those are gorgeous gifts Kjerstin and a nice mixture of things.
We like the variety – some things spice up the winter, some to help you feel good in other ways – and everything made with thoughtfulness and generosity.
It is a lovely idea.
So glad you’re enjoying the gifts of craftiness that your crafty friends have put together. It’s a delight to share in your joy.
I am glad you are enjoying it too – we are reminded of the Christmas spirit every morning!
Watching your calendar is way better than having one!
It’s fun to open the little packages, and then to share with you, and hope it doesn’t come across as gloating!
Absolutely not gloating!! I love the updates, thank you again
this is such a very fun event and project. I am so enjoying seeing what you and your friends come up with for each day. No dissapointments!! Every day a surprise.
It is so much fun – I just love the whole project, and I think most participants agree!
I forgot to add that Hitty Marie Claire loves the chicken shaped soap!
Isn’t that the most adorable soap of all time!?
Christmas baking – I bet your home smelled wonderful! Hope the Hittys did not tire out from all that work!
The Advent Calendar treats all sounds so spectacular!
