Quimper Hitty Sleeping Bags
Quilts are all very well, but nothing beats a home-made sock for Hitty comfort. A Hitty Friend spun and dyed the yarn which made up these “sleeping bags”.

Fern loves Australian Merino stripes, while Barefoot Carya wishes I would hurry and finish the Supersocke wool.

A slumber party – Tansy, Gracia, Constance and Eugenia are actually asleep, but Perdita has a book and a flashlight in her sleeping bag !

Min is hopping about like the little bird she is named after. She says sleeping bags are nice but she is going to try out bird nests next.
I found it! How nice to mention about the socks! You really have done well making those socks. The girls look so peaceful – but, for how long?
Thanks, Laura – that bamboo and silk was lovely to work with! The girls are now collapsed in their various sleeping situatuons after a day of marmalade and opera!
