A day at the beach
A warm sunny day and no wind – a perfect day for a Quimper Hitty picnic. Constance and Tansy put on their old-fashioned bathing costumes….
Wearing their summery dresses, Min reminisces about the encounter with the Puffin, and Patience thinks this must be Paradise.

Constance notices interesting things amongst the sand and pebbles.

At the end of the day the lunch is eaten up and there is room in the picnic basket for beach glass and shells. The Quimper Hittys are so glad it has finally warmed up around here.

Quaint Quimpers collect crabs, eat everything, and always find fun.
SWEET!
Wow! A perfect day. I love the alliteration in Becky’s comment. I’m jealous–of both the alliteration and the wonderful Hitty picnic!
The picnic was the perfect way to enjoy one of the first days of summery weather (did you see Becky’s comment on the Berry day?)!
I am so glad it’s warmed up too, and it looks like the Quimper Hittys have the right idea with a picnic on the beach, that’s for sure! Wonderful post, my friend!
Thanks! They had fun, and the picnic basket was heavier on the way home with all the beach glass and shells!
How nice to relax by the beach on a hot summer day. My hittys are longing to join the Quimper Hittys.
We are lucky to live so near the ocean…if your Hittys ever do visit this area, drop by for tea!
I love being able to visit the seaside vicariously by catching up on the Quimper Hittys as they enjoy their proximity to the ocean 🙂
The sea air is very reviving!
