The cats approve
This version returns the focus of the quilt to its proper subject. The Quimper Hitty felines condescend to approve my second attempt at a “Puss-in-the-Corner” quilt. Like the previous one, this quilt is made entirely out of former yoyos except the backing-and-border. For that I used some reproduction 1930’s prints, which were sent by a very kind and generous friend. I find the easiest way to do a tiny border is to bring the backing over around to the front, and stitch it into place…

The cats know a good thing when they see it….very nicely done and much more definition given to the pattern.
I am amazed about how the quilts are turning out so differently. What a difference a little space between the pattern can make, and how colour combinations can change the whole feel of a quilt.
I love your ‘Puss in the Corner” quilt and the four kitties who love it, too! It makes me want to get out my stash and see what I can make for my Hittys, too.
The Quimper Hitty cats are more fond of my weaving than of my sewing projects, but they couldn’t resist the name of this one.
This is beautiful!
Thanks!!
That’s not what I had pictured when you said “Cats in the corner”! Tee hee!
We are glad you were amused!
This is a very nice quilt. Perhaps we should thank those cats for being so encouraging that you made another one just to keep them happy.
Thank you, cats!
What an attractive pattern! And the adorable kitties enjoy it too!
Rose’s pink cat seems especially taken with it for some reason.
It’s enchanting!
Thank you! We like this pattern a lot, and have plans to make more of them!
