The cats approve

A Puss in each corner

A Puss in each corner

This version returns the focus of the quilt to its proper subject. The Quimper Hitty felines condescend to approve my second attempt at a “Puss-in-the-Corner” quilt. Like the previous one, this quilt is made entirely out of former yoyos except the backing-and-border. For that I used some reproduction 1930’s prints, which were sent by a very kind and generous friend. I find the easiest way to do a tiny border is to bring the backing over around to the front, and stitch it into place…

    • I am amazed about how the quilts are turning out so differently. What a difference a little space between the pattern can make, and how colour combinations can change the whole feel of a quilt.

  1. I love your ‘Puss in the Corner” quilt and the four kitties who love it, too! It makes me want to get out my stash and see what I can make for my Hittys, too.
