Tired of Hibernating
A small furry creature was lurking in the woodpile. He was Lonely and also Cold…
Hattie, on her way to collect firewood, found a moping little bear.….
.
.
She invited the little creature to come in and see whether the Hitty cupboard was more appealing…
.
.
Does this seem like an improvement to the woodpile?
.
.
I think so!

Lucky little bear. I hope it is friendly and not too shy from living alone in the cold.
The new little bear does seem friendly and not inclined toward mischief!
love the “moping little bear”….so sweet. Hattie is a wonderful Hitty to rescue the wee bruin.
That cozy bed is a HUGE improvement to a cold old woodpile that probably has frozen spiders!
And he even has a friend. And now a wonderful home. Great story!
The bear was definitely not fond of the frozen spiders, though Hattie would like to rescue them as well.
Bless her for rescuing a little orphan bear! Doesn’t she look happy and proud of her little charges in the last photo?
It is a good feeling when it’s possible to help out a creature in need.
My, such a sweet Hitty to rescue and befriend the lonely fellow. Now the two bears can be friends as well as neither will be lonely.
We encourage Little friendships around here – between little bears or little dolls, it is all delightful!
Sweet…my Hitty has a favorite as well…Merry Christmas
🙂
Ohhh, this is so sweet. I am very happy the little bear has a warm, loving home now. Loved this story. Dolly Hugs
HI Nancy, I am glad you enjoyed reading about the Quimper Hittys latest escapade! They do have fun! Little bear is glad to have company instead of a cold dark crack in the woodpile!
A new little friend – Really really sweet.
Yes – the Hittys were so happy to give the little bear a warm cosy place to live.
