The Moon
An eclipse of the moon occurred, and Constance and Min set up their telescope to see what they could see…at 8 pm the eastern horizon was hazy, and the moon rose into a cloud…
At 5:30 am… the moon tantalised them with a flash of light between clouds on the Western horizon.

Admittedly this wasn’t the greatest eclipse-viewing experience of all time, but Min and Constance enjoyed the fresh air, the outdoors, the vanilla scent of gorse at dusk, the birdsong at dawn, and the cup of tea back at the Hitty Cupboard!

wonderful photos and prose. Love your writing and your lovely dolls. Our viewing experience was done in by clouds and a bit of winter weather. Thank you for sharing.
Constance and I are always game for a little excursion at odd hours – Min was thrilled to be invited along and is always in a positive mood! Winter weather – not snow in April I hope!
beautiful reflection of the moon on the water. I missed it, too cloudy on this side of the city.
It has been a showery few days in Victoria!
This was definitely a fun loving experience for the girls.
They are always ready to see things in a new light.
