Tansy Travels to Stanley
On the bus to Stanley
Tansy’s recent trip to China included a jaunt to the town of Stanley at the south end of Hong Kong Island. The bus drove from the metropolis right though the mountain, and then along a winding coastal road.

Stanley is a pretty town with beaches, pretty open spaces (and Shopping!)
Beautiful Shade
It was very nice to visit this calm and beautiful part of the Hong Kong Island.

It was delightful to rest in the roots and the shade of a Banyan tree.

We are lucky to have heard some of the details from her traveling companion, who also generously shared pictures of the trip with us! Tansy is the most adventurous Hitty of the Quimper Hitty Cupboard. Constance likes to travel with me, but Tansy doesn’t mind going off on her own!

I enjoyed the video showing the surroundings and how bumpy the ride was. Tansy is a well prepared tourist with her satchel and eye for shopping. I can tell she is going to have lots of stories to share.

The video was quite a nice touch. Very clever!! Enjoyed the info on a part of HOng Kong that one does not often think of. BUT the big question….>What did Tansy buy??!!! Surely she did not return home with an empty satchel?
