A Small Adventure 3
Morning at Point No Point was glorious and sunny – the Hittys and Humans were itching to get on the road again…
…but first we polished off some strawberries and yoghurt…
…and shared some toast with a peckish Stellar’s Jay.
The first stop after breakfast was Jordan River where the two dedicated photographers disappeared into a photogenic wreck, and the QH human and dolls basked on the beach.
When the sun got too hot the Hittys climbed into a driftwood cave,
…but they climbed out again to partake of a second breakfast served on clamshell plates.

Girls, enjoy it all! Beautiful photos!!! Thank you for sharing…on a third snowy morning!
Snow again!!! Oh how wearying…
I’m glad the jay didn’t take a fancy to one of the girls and fly off with her!
The Jay did take a fancy to the girls, but was surprisingly civil for a corvid, and they only chatted politely.
Amazing what difference an offering of food can make to a corvid’s manners!
oh my such lovely photos..what a wonderful place to visit! The girls are fetching as usual.
Thank you! The Girls enjoyed the outing as much as the humans did, and we all hope to go back again some time or other.
How about a Hitty gathering of sorts…
Oh, that would be fun!
what a perfect place for a Hitty adventure. So happy the jay didn’t take one of the Hittys to a nest at the top of a tree, he does look rather fierce!
We were pretty sure the jay would go for the crumbs!
What a lovely day to go beach-combing. The photographers must have had a wonderful time investigating the wreck, allowing the Hittys time to bask in the sun and enjoy the wildlife!
We were in a basking mood, so everyone was happy…(the human had a good book to read too!)
What a magical adventure! I am so glad that the Hitty girls didn’t have an unexpected adventure with their fine feathered friend! Beautiful photos!
The Jay was very interested in collecting the crumbs for its family! The Hittys wouldn’t have been so brave with a crow, I think.
I do hope that the QH human also had as lovely of a hat as the dear little dolls did….a good book is fabulous, curious little dolls and photographic material help gather momentum, but add a hat and you nearly have a novel right there on the beach!
We enjoyed our little chapter by the beach, and hats were worn by all!
I love the creativity here.
Thank you – we do have fun around here, that’s for sure!
What a wonderful adventure. The driftwood cave is amazing.
We really enjoyed that trip! It was very short, but wonderful.
