Little Things in the Garden
Gillyflower – the littlest Hitty in the household went for a walk in our garden this end of February Sunday morning…
…and found that the Hazel tree is leafing out…
and the deciduous Tamarack is too!
Glorious purple and delicate white mini Irises are blooming in the window box pots…
She spotted the first little narcissus almost ready to bloom…
…and when she sat very still in the early blooming Rhododendron, she was almost invisible!!

Thanks for sending beauty out to e-land. It’s a welcome sight.
We are happy to have the harbingers of spring beginning to show themselves! Gilly is happy to romp in them!
Wow! Your spring flowers are exquisite! Thank you for sharing them with us!
Thank you – we are happy that we made the flower pot gardens last fall – they are especially pretty and visible from indoors when the weather turns very wet and windy!
Fantastic photos of great beauty!!
Thank you – Gilly is preening, she likes being thought of as a great beauty!
She is precious !!
We think so too!
Sweet Little Gilly is the prettiest flower in the garden. She makes us look forward to Spring here in Pennsylvania.
I love little Gilly too, she seems to have endeared herself to everyone inside and out of the Hitty cupboard! I hope spring come soon!
oh what fun and lovely photos… and yes little Gilly is indeed a blossom! I so enjoy seeing her. She never fails to put a smile on my face.
Thank you! Gilly wanted to stay out all day in the Rhododendron, we had to lure her back indoors to put her to bed!
