Lost Hedgepig
Hedgepigs normally look for warm leafy places to hibernate during the winter…but this little piggie is lost…
Mummy?
Poor lost hedgepiglet!
The Quimper Hittys can offer some succour, in the form of warm laps…
…and food…
…and friendship.

Such a cute hedgepiglet!
A block of wood, and some toothpicks! He did turn out pretty cute, I’ll admit!
Your hedgehog sanctuary is growing! How very dear!
I have always liked hedgehogs, and one of my fondest memories of living in the U.K. Was of seeing a dear little garden pig munching cat food from a saucer! I am glad that the Hittys seem to attract them!
I’ve loved them since childhood because of Mrs Tiggywinkle, but have only come upon them in captivity. Enchanting creatures!
oh lucky baby to have found your caring family of Hittys. I am sure he will be well cared for and loved! Fun fun photos and story.
He is a lucky piglet, and we are lucky he turned up in our garden…the Hittys will take good care of him!
What a little cutie. So glad you found a home.
He is prickly but cute – we’ll do our best to keep him happy, and hope he stays with us all winter!
What a lovely place for the hedgepig to land. Are the QHs known to be a place of refuge?
We do seem to attract strays – the wee piglet is a little easier to look after than the crocodile, methinks!
A-w-w-w. What an adorable and fortunate little baby hedge piglet to end up in the care of Constance and Hattie.
He is fortunate, but so are we! We are looking forward to snuggling with him, and petting him in the direction of the nap!
