Reflections
Walking home through the park in the gloaming, Amelia felt grateful for the people in our city who had the forethought to preserve a big chunk of land as a park! We are also glad that scientists, lawmakers and other citizens still work to preserve, understand, and protect nature.
We went to the grocery store on the way home, so the human’s rucksack was full and heavy – luckily we could take the bus the rest of the way home! We are glad that we live in a place where people have some access to public transit, housing and health care!
We were happy to arrive home! We were restored with a cup of tea, a pretty bouquet and the knowledge that we have the love and support of our friends!

Thanks to a Hitty friend for these sweet Hitty-sized flowers!

So many blessings! We have so much to be grateful for! I count the Quimper Hittys among my blessings- thanks for all that you create and share. ❤
We love creating and sharing! Thanks for being a Hitty friend!
Thank you!!!!
❤
Ah… Amelia is so sweet. I never tire of her happy little face!
I love her! Thanks for suggesting Sycamore, and helping me make her real!
It’s fine day for reflection and restoration via tea.
Tea makes everything a little more bearable!
Lovely…speaking of a grocery store, last weekend while grocery shopping, I thought for certain you were ahead of me at several points (from photos I’ve seen of you) as the woman who walked ahead reminded me immediately of you. So I can tack your expedition and thoughts here on to the visual I had of “you” at the store the other day. What a blessing you and your QHs are. Thank you.
Wouldn’t that have been fun? I would love to run into you in a grocery store…alas I have been in the far west of Canada since late September.
we do have a great deal to be grateful here in our beautiful city. Just knowing the Hittys are down the road is a joy.
…and I love knowing you are up the hill weaving, stitching and planning here in our beautiful city!
Amelia has such a sweet face!
I am glad you think so – I really like her face a lot! Her wood is so hard, she shouldn’t suffer much from dings and divots!
Amelia sums up the feelings and gratitude of many of your readers. Thank you for wording it so graciously and picturing it so beautifully.
You are welcome! The reflections caught our eyes and hearts yesterday – luckily I had a camera with me, and Amelia inspired me to think out loud!
From the bottom of my heart “Amen to that”!!
Sweet flowers are doubled when they are reflected! We love our Hitty friends who inspire us in unexpected ways!
What a perfect way to reflect on the blessings we have around us.
Sometimes it is an effort, but we try to remember good things when it is dark and gloomy.
