1. Eastern Pennsylvania looks exactly like the walk you and Carrot Soup had. We’ve had 52 inches of rain so far this year…our normal is 32 inches. The upside of this is that the colors look so pretty when they are wet, and the earth smells fresh.

   • What a lot of weather! I think you are right – the colours are so beautiful when they are saturated! Carrot Soup doesn’t mind the rain, luckily, our fall, winter and springs are usually rather wet!

   • It was a lovely fall walk – Carrot Soup was cheerful as ever, though she wouldn’t have minded some smaller company!
