Icy afternoon
It was a lovely sunny afternoon…
.
.
…but very very cold!
.
.
We went for a walk to the rocky foreshore…
.
.
…and also a slip and a slide on the frozen puddles.
.
.
There were some amazing ice formations to admire…
.
.
…and even though it got a bit chilly…
.
.
…it was a beautiful afternoon! The temperatures have been Way below usual for January…we even had a wisp of snow.

It’s wonderful to have variations in weather conditions where one resides. Forgive me for not being able to recall the lovely Hitty’s name, but she is dressed so beautifully for her outdoor, smattered with some icy spots, jaunt. The Müttersholtz Hittys are dealing with a foot or more of snow that has settled somewhat icily on the ground and with dangerous Arctic, below zero F temps as well as more than brisk winds. Stay warm little QHs and thanks for your updates!
Sweet Arianell had fun on our outing. A foot of snow would be over her head!!! Luckily she could dive into my pocket when it got too chilly!
WOW! This should be an amazing experience for this Little one, Thank you dear Hitty Lady, your photographs showing all. Having a warm and nice new week,Love, nia
Thank you – I hope you stay warm too – we didn’t walk very far – it was too cold!
Lovely 🥰

Thanks! It was a chilly afternoon and we were both glad to be home again, wrapping our hands around mugs of tea!
Beautiful low winter light! and she looks extremely cosy!
She was! The knitted hood was especially welcome – there was a tiny little breeze that made everything feel colder!
what a frosty and lovely tour. It is way beyond frosty here….more like arctic! I love Arianelle in her sweater and hat…very cozy.
Arianell was glad that I had been making sweaters all fall – she thinks an actual coat might be needed this week! I hope you are staying warm in the severe cold in your neighbourhood!
As always a lovely story!
Thank you! Cold weather can be so beautiful!
