Friday Flowers in March
Spring arrived on the 19th here, so Viola put on her new spring dress…

Viola feels like she is wearing a bouquet!

Viola, the Alstromeria is one of my favorite flowers. The blooms last so long! Your dress is lovely.
The blooms last and last! We like them too!
The combination of vibrant Viola, the breathtaking bouquet and the pretty painted fabric made into a simple spring-time dress has made this another joyous jaunt as we look at life on Quimper Street with the Hittys there. Thank you so much!
You are so welcome! it has been a blustery stormy spring with sunny days sprinkled here and there. We will be glad when the weather evens out a little, but meanwhile the increasing sunlight and flowers help keep spirits up!!
I do love Viola’s peaceful face and contented expression. She looks a little like one of my nieces, Francesca, who is rather intimidatingly bright and does ‘something in finance’, bless her.
Viola is a lovely calm presence – how lovely to have a human with those characteristics, especially in finance!
Beautiful smiling face and beautiful Spring dress. Thank you, Love, nia
You are welcome, nia, we look for the positive things, and sometimes they are small but beautiful!
Viola is a beauty and her new dress adorned with hand painted flowers is exquisite! Love seeing her with the bouquet… your photos have just made my day.
The white flowers in particular made me think of Hitty dresses – I popped Viola into her pretty frock to capture the moment, and seeing her in the dress keeps the joy of that particular bouquet in my mind!
How beautiful
Thank you – it’s been a long dull soggy winter! We are finding optimism where we may!
What a pretty Spring dress to go with the beautiful flowers!
Thank you! The friend that painted the fabric is very talented, and the bouquet was so very pretty…they called to one another and Viola couldn’t help herself!
