Valentine’s Day 2025
Henrietta visited the Hitty Art Gallery…
.
.
…to see the winter art offerings – like the tiny framed hooked rug (rescued from a Charity Shop)…
.
.
…the glorious “Starry Night” quilt made by the QH human…
.
.
…and the little snowy scene (I bought a pair of earrings at a craft fair, which were attached to this sweet watercolour!)
.
.
Vanilla says that’s enough moping around about Winter – time to change the mood around here!
.
.
Here are two paintings contributed by the youngest human in the family, and a flower from our favourite photographer…
.
.
…a sweet quilt made for us by a Hitty friend in Ontario (and a cake and some chocolate, and a little rag doll from a Hitty friend in Missouri)…
.
.
…and a valentine card from a neighbour! We feel surrounded by Hitty friends and love. ❤ ❤ ❤

Yay for all of those lovely, stimulating (and many red colored) items that have brought some cheer to your/our midwinter blues. I appreciate that uplift that they all brought to my spirit too.
Your little rag doll is so sweet. I noticed her right away. Was she made from an Edith Flack Ackley pattern?
That first quilt! Wow! It is gorgeous! Hope your Valentine’s Day was perfection!
love the tiny hooked rug and the Hitty Art Gallery is impressive.
what a fascinating collection…such a thoughtful curator to assemble this display.
We all had fun with this!
The Hitty Art Gallery looks like a magical place!
It is magical! One of my students made it for me a long time ago – the Hittys love having a special place to view Artworks, and they have been trying to change the exhibit once a month.
