It stormed this morning after which the sun blazed out for a few minutes – which highlighted the cobwebs and dust that had built up in her shop over the winter – Gracia was mortified…

…and after hours of elbow grease and scrubbing, she was finally satisfied.

Rhubarb?
Her first two customers were on the hunt for a specific ingredient, which Gracia unfortunately did not have – Rhubarb is not in season yet!

No wonder we are all driven to Spring Cleaning. The sun does show up the dust and cobwebs.
The sun is so welcome – even when it shines into dusty corners!
Today there is sun here but I have the perfect excuse for leaving the cobwebs untouched Hee Hee!

Yes, more sunshine yields more movement (for me at least) which can lead to Spring cleaning. Gracia’s movement led to such satisfactory results. I trust that the rhubarb-strawberry jam will suit Coriander and Malarkey’s culinary needs. Thank you for another sweet narrative, showing us the homey activities of your dear dolls.
we were hoping for rhubarb stalks which have more versatility…we may just end up having jam on toast, which will suit us very well!
The carniceria is wonderful and so perfect with all the tiny bits and pieces, even the mice. Hopefully we are going to have more sunshine to highlight more spider webs and dust. Garcia, and the humans, will be kept busy.
The sun was very nice while it lasted…sigh! We love our Carniceria (which Gracia has expanded to include a variety of produce, but alas, not rhubarb).
