  1. What a marvelous find by the favorite photographer and what a blessing it must be to Jane to have her brother by her side again. I’m so happy for them/you all.

  2. Awww, James James Morrison Morrison Weatherby George DuPree looks so sad! No wonder, after being separated from his sister for all those years! How wonderful for them to be re-united, and bless the Favorite Photographer for rescuing him and re-uniting the siblings. ❤

    • I think his little sad mouth is an addition – dolls this size usually only had a little red dot, and James James has that rather pretty little mouth drawn below the dot. I fear he may have a permanent gloom…but you are right, no wonder! We are so glad we found him and Jane hopes that stability, cake and friendliness will keep him from sinking further!

  3. how wonderful that James, James has found his way home to family. Well done Hitty’s photographer. I hope James can now smile.

  4. what a wonderful reunion . Jane will take good care of him. I do confess that the Country HIttys and their human was very impressed by his name!!! We also like his outfit.

    • We love the outfit too! Such a unique style, perfect for a hundred-year-old boy! His name just arose from looking at him and his discontented little expression, though of course Jane could have told us if we had thought to ask her.

  5. I think all your Hittys are female (or have I missed one?) in which case james will be spoilt!

    • We do have Prince Tamino, but he comes out very rarely…and there is also Mungo, but he has had a bad case of elastic wilt for quite a long time. I think I had better get the boys all out and playing again, just so James James doesn’t get too full of himself.

  6. I think this James James is probably a bit older than “only three”, though perhaps perpetually that age in his sister’s eyes! He’s a little sad, though hopefully less so now. He once was lost, but now he’s found, and I think the Hittys will spoil him rotten!

    • James James is older than three for sure…but he is keeping his secrets! Jane will coddle him and the Hittys will be amused. What fun to have another little peg doll in the family – we are so glad that our favourite photographer rescued him!!
