Fall Oranges

Afternoon Walk

Floradora and Coriander took advantage of a bright moment between storms…

.

.

Oak

…to walk around the neighbourhood gazing at leaves turning colours….

.

.

Nasturtium

…and wondering at the intensity of the late nasturtium flowers…

.

.

Cargo

…there is a lot of orange about at this time of year!

.

.

Gallery

Floradora headed off to the Art Gallery to see the fall display…

.

.

Toasted

…and Coriander went home to help out in the kitchen…

.

.

Ground

…where she helped toast and grind some coriander seeds…

.

.

Done

We made a coriander and orange cake…

.

.

Sniff

…unsurprisingly it is Coriander’s favourite cake, but she will have to be patient and wait until Sunday Dinner Dessert!

  1. It’s entertaining that our seasons, although opposites, are intersecting on orange! I’ve been inspired by all the orange flashes nature is offering me in our tropical spring. The cake sounds wonderful, but coriander is a long way down my favourites list – sorry, Coriander!
