November Pie
The first of November is Pumpkin Pie time around here.
The days are getting shorter, the nights cooler and darker…it is a good time to share delicious food with friends, and to tell them how much they mean to us. Constance (my first Hitty, carved in 2007) has many tales to tell! Amelia (my latest doll, carved this year) is hoping she might some day have lots of adventures too, but for now is happy to listen to them, and to help eat up the pie.

Pumpkin pie – breakfast of champions!
Pumpkin pie any time of day (or night) we say!
What a lovely scene….both of your dolls are just so dear.
By the way, the John Deere headquarters are a mere 1/2 hour from us. The tractor is sooooo familiar.
My newly tractor-fascinated girls are impressed that you live so near the John Deere HQ!
Both these girls are very dear to me 😊
Two sisters sharing stories and sweets…. it’s all about love.
There can’t be too much love in the world!
I agree!
the Hitties share an abundance of yummy eatables. Love that tractor.
We love the tractor too, and we adore pie of all kinds!
such a sweet and cozy photo.. Constance has been a pleasure since the day you brought her to life. I am sure that Amelia will have many stories in the years to come. And now I am very hungry for pumpkin pie!
We are sure the stories will accumulate- Amelia looks to me like she is ready and willing to start having adventures!
No wonder Amelia and Constance look sooooooo happy. Pumpkin pie!!!!! Y-u-m. Given that pumpkin is a squash, can pumpkin pie be served as a vegetable with dinner????
I think pumpkin could be served as a squash at dinner, though some are large and watery, and not very flavoursome.
Each and everyone of your dolls is amazing!!! They all have same kind look and those sparkling, adventurous and curious little eyes!!! And the smiles….oh! What a treat!!! Love them all to pieces! We are privileged to have them brightening up our days 😄
Thank you 😊 very much – the Quimper girls are so happy to be beloved!
