Just Desserts

Constance gets ready to celebrate.

The Metropolitan Opera’s  broadcast today was Mozart’s Don Giovanni.  It told the story (to quote CBC’s Bill Richardson) of Murder, Lust, Vengeance, Deceit and the consequences of inviting a statue to dinner.   It is disconcerting to imagine the protagonist being dragged down to hell at the end, but he IS the bad guy, so he is getting what he deserves.

The cat wonders if Min can filch a bit of whipping cream.

The Quimper Hittys have a Just Desserts Party to celebrate the downfall of all Cads, Rakes, Scoundrels,  Wretches, Dastards, and  Reprobates.
