Rose’s Friday Harbor Flowers
Constance, Rose and Min visited Friday Harbor on San Juan Island for a few days over the Victoria Day Long Weekend. The Humans were invited to stay in a pretty little cabin, and the Hittys were provided with their own sleeping accessories…Constance has a travel bag made by a Hitty Friend which doubles as a Sleeping Bag. Rose was content to snuggle up in a pink Cotton Hanky and Min borrowed Mary Ann’s little sack with bells on it. Constance loves the peace and quiet in Friday Harbor, Rose looked forward to exploring a new place and Min just likes to hop around and is pleased with any new adventure.
The girls admired a lot of flowers on this trip….here Rose finds a tiny little species of Lupin.
.
Rose took a deep sniff, but the California Poppy seems to have a more spectacular colour than scent.
.
.
In the beautiful Deep Woods, Rose listened to the spaces between birdsong echoes.
.
.
What kind of flower is this? Rose marvels at the tiny hairlike pink petals.
.
.
Although Rose is named after the Hellebore plant, she does admire other Roses….

Didn’t they have a lovely time – the flowers are wonderful. They look very sweet in their sleeping gear.
