Boat Fun
After a long drive we took a short ferry ride from Vancouver Island to Quadra Island. Constance and Patience hopped out of the car and had a very small adventure. They first peered into the car, and suggested the rest of us get out and enjoy the fresh air.

A rolled up net was perfect for gaining altitude.

.
The view from the rail was gorgeous!
.
.
Constance and Patience had a little rest on the way back to the car.
.
.
After driving to the other side of Quadra Island, we loaded up the little boats with enough gear to survive (baguettes, fondue mix, avocados etc). Then we had another 20 minute ride – Constance and Patience were dressed for any watery eventuality but the crossing was uneventful.

Little did we know that a little stowaway had inserted herself into her favourite photographer’s camera bag.
.
.
Tansy decided to come too!

Tansy does have a way of getting into that camera bag and going fun places! What a great trip for little wooden girls.
Apparently she has an especially comfortable padded spot in the camera bag,..we like Tansy, she is very adventurous and friendly.
these pics are just great!! Love the story…love the girls rain gear. Love that Tansy smuggled herself along! a ferry, little boats…all the gear!!! Adventure for all!! I think I am envious! Wonderful , thanks so much for sharing.
It was fun – the wooden girls had a fine time, so did the humans!
What fun!
We all had fun – and we all stayed dry!
Looks like everyone had great fun. Beautiful views. .
We live in a beautiful part of the world, and the weather was very co-operative!
