Lavender and Pink
Gilly and Constance have been strolling around the neighbourhood looking for late June flowers.
.
.
Constance likes the lavender…
.
.
…it’s wonderful colour…
.
.
…the pleasantly astringent smell…
.
.
…and the fact you can pick it and preserve the scent.
.
.
Gilly thinks Pinks are best…
.
.
…even when they are not very pink.
.
.
…but the frilly pink Pinks are definitely best!
.
.
…these ones are from our garden – now the Hitty cupboard is full of Pink and Lavender!

Darling girls among the beautiful flowers. I must say I am rather partial to the lavender! But Gilly sure looks adorable in the frilly pinks. What a lovely stroll in the garden, thank you.
It was a lovely expedition – flower-hunting is one of the Quimper Hittys favourite activities.
You just made my whole day. Sunshine, beautiful flowers, and the best little flower in the garden…GILLY Flower!!!
Gillyflower does enjoy playing in the garden – I love her view of the world!
Thank you again for such a sweet narrative….if all narratives each day were so full of colour and life…
We do our best to notice and share the colour and charm of our days here in the Hitty cupboard, (or wherever we happen to get to) It helps to have a Hitty in the pocket – they tend to have an encouraging perspective!
