After days of deprivation the humans are reveling in a new Hot Water Tank! The Quimper Hittys are happy to help celebrate! Fern decided to take a hot bath.

Zipporah wondered what the fuss was all about. She didn’t mind heating water on the woodstove, and actually prefers a jug and basin to total immersion.

Quimper Hittys 
ahhh this did remind me of some good ole days. MANY years ago, Dear Husband and I lived in a big old neglected farmhouse. It was wonderful in the summer spring and fall but come winter…the pipes all froze and we could not get anyone to fix them,. So our only running water was what we would manually pump and run into the house!!
Oh yes, remember the no central heat?? Well if we did not want something to freeze IN the house we had to put it in the fridge!! We were so young!! hah.
I love the pics of the girls at their baths. They all look so cuddly and clean!!
The Quimper Hittys wonder if you wore extra petticoats in the “Good Ole Days” ? They are glad to be Clean And Warm, and they are also glad because having the hot water running again, makes the humans more amiable!
Amiable humans indeed – probably a more salubrious environment on other ways too!They are lucky to have such a nice duck for the bath – I hope it is amiable as well. Min looks so pleased to be helping Peggoty with her bath – all those bubbles!
Warm Bubblebaths increase amiableness definitely.
Not so sure about the others, but Min looks like she is having loads of fun. Little Min always makes me smile to just look at her happy cheerful face.
Min is a smile-inducer in our household too!
