Rose was a Christmas gift, and this plant blooms all through the winter in our climate. I thought I’d name her Christmas Rose after this flower, but not after the scientific name, which is Hellebore 🙂
how lovely to see flowers in bloom!! After this past winter all signs of greenery and blooms are so welcome!!
And of course the prettiest blossom in the bunch is Rose herself!! Wonderful photos.
Beautiful pictures, Hitty Rose really does suit those roses so well. We just passed a new garden of pebbles with Lenten Roses (H. persica) and we thought it would make a lovely Hitty pic, tho I’d have to ask the owners! Thank you for inspiring us to get out amongst the spring flowers, Quimper Hittys 🙂
This is another unknown flower to me. Thank you for posting these delights along with Rose. My mental version of a rose is so different.

What beautiful flowers and photos!
Glad to see spring is finally coming there!
We are glad too – they all seem to come at once! I saw a few blooms are appearing in your garden too!

Rose thanks you amid the rosy blushes on her cheeks!

That would be a lovely picture – we were sorely tempted by some further away Hellebore plants, but stuck to ones we could reach from the pavement.
