Flowering Plum
The Flowering Plum is going to town…All over Victoria there are pink-lined streets.
Mary Ann and Eugenia climbed up to get a close look at them …
.
.
Completely awash with pink!
.
.
They marvel at the exuberance of spring.

Gorgeous!
Thanks! It makes us love Pink again!
Absolutely glorious!
We think so too, and are so glad to see petals and petals of loveliness.
I also marvel at the exuberance of spring!! What wonderful photos and a wonderful mental image of streets lined with a profusion of pink!!!
Eugenia and Mary Ann were so happy to get out in the pink profusion!
This is beautiful, but I would have thought it was a flowering cherry tree as its leaves and flowers look just like ours. They are such gorgeous trees aren’t they? It is wonderful to see Eugenie and Mary Ann enjoying it.
These trees produce fruits with an oval drupe, and stone, and they taste rather tart, we call them flowering plums! But Cherries are close relations of plums, all from the genus Prunus!
