Opal’s Oranges
Agathe and Opal went for a stroll around our neighbourhood.
They seemed to gravitate towards the autumnal colours – reds and oranges abound at this time of year!
They found all sizes and shapes of orange!
…including this driftwood tree in it’s new fall decoration…
And this prodigious pumpkin in a nearby front garden!

And beautiful yellow sunlight to bring out the colours.
It was a beautiful evening after a day of rain!
Hello Agathe and Opal
Our person showed man person this post and he’s gone off into a bout of homesickness for his native Vermont. Our trees and hedgerows here in Wales are turning to lovely shades of green, yellow, rust and brown but we don’t quite have the wonderous deep reds and oranges that your photos show…… there is a little discussion about changing continents going on and we worry we might not be included in such movement….
Your friend, (who is currently in a slight state of anxiety,)

It sounds as though on the west coast of Canada, we have a Walesy coloured fall…most of the leaves around here generally just turn brown and fall off. Except for the evergreens, which we probably have more of around here than in your corner of the world. The oranges we found yesterday were singular and nothing like the sweep and extent of fall colours I have heard of in eastern Canada and the US.
We are exceedingly fond of orange year-round, but there is something wondrous about the oranges of autumn. Thank you for the treat, Ladies!
The oranges just leapt out at us yesterday on the way home from work, so we went for an immediate Hittys-and-camera walk while the sun was still making everything glow.
Gorgeous girls and gorgeous scenery!
Thank you, we’re having fun, despite the lack of catfish… what does fall look like in your neck of the woods?
