Sandy November
Opal and Agathe took advantage of a break between rainshowers, and dashed to the beach a few blocks from the Hitty Cupboard…
The sandy seashore was pretty narrow as it was close to high tide, but still there are neverending delights awaiting a curious adventurer or two…
…such as this boom log and chain hole with its broken link still inside…
…and easily assembled play equipment!
They were glad to get out for a little bit – but now it is pouring rain again!
.

Again, so much to love in this post. Let’s start with the kelp…I can smell it even here! And the calico companions – I like the way their hoodies mirror the log. There could be a water-logged comrade in there!
We like the kelp knots that form – after a storm is particularly delightful! Ever since reading “Hitty – Her First Hundred Years”, I have inspected every tide pool carefully for lost Hittys…but you are right – there could be endless Hittys in all the driftwood on the beach!
Fun at the beach, indeed!
Neverending fun! The beach is different every time we go!
The girls are having such a great time playing on the beach. They probably do not want to be back to their hitty cupboard !!
That is what they thought until it began to pelt with rain again!
These two Hittys never seem to tire of wholesome curiosity..you can always see it in their expressions-“More, more, more, give us more to explore.”
They are so ready for fun – just bursting with enthusiasm!
What fun. Beautiful photography. Going to have to start taking walking tours with my doll. Love it. Dolly hugs.
Thanks very much 🙂 do go for dolly walks, it is amazing what you see when you try and get a view of life from 6 1/4 inches!
