We all love waffles, and the Hittys thought these were perfect – small and drenched in maple syrup, then covered with berries!
And what a marvelous tablecloth!
Yes indeed, it is our special handwoven linen tablecloth, made with the help of Constance the Weaver.
I think that playing Scrabble becomes alot easier after reading Quimper Hitty posts..new words all the time-Mondegreen! fabulous! And there is so much color and warmth going on with the berries, waffles and linens in the QH cupboard too.
We love word play! Scrabble, Mondegreens, and poetry – hooray!
Hmmmm…. must find the waffle iron! You’ve inspired me 🙂 Sadly, the waffle iron hasn’t shown up yet since our big move….
Keep digging! Of course, the day after waffle day is also a good day for waffles…

lovely Springtime table, the teacups are delightful and the berry baskets are so-o cute.
It is a little early for human Berries, but the Hittys always have their little punnets of fresh ones…and any time is a good time for tea in pretty teacups!
ARGHHH,,, no one told me it was Waffle day!!! And I already have soup in the pan for tonight..hmmm perhaps it will be the Day After Waffle day for me and mine. Great pictures. Oh the dinner ware, the tablecloth the scrumptious foods and the ever delightful Tansy and Constance. THank you!!!
