Spring Fawn Lilies
Rose is so happy to see the beautiful Fawn Lily meadow…
The wildflowers flourish in protected areas of Beacon Hill Park.
.
The spotted leaves must have reminded someone of a fawn – hence the common name.
This is a Hitty-eye view of the Fawn Lily flower.
All the Quimper Hittys are fond of wildflowers, but they are content to admire them in their meadows!
.

Beautiful…we will see these wildflowers (which we call Trout Lily) in about 4-6 weeks from now. I appreciate the preview though in your beautiful part of the world.
I guess trout are spotted, like fawns…it is interesting that the plant is named after animals! We’ve had such a dark and rainy winter we are all glad to experience the spring renewal, hopefully headed your way too!
oh so very pretty. No wild flowers blooming here…yet. But your photos make the Country Hittys and their person very anxious! Thank you for sharing these wonderful flowers…and Rose!!
Rose is glad to spend the day with me sometimes, her plant-derived name makes her specially glad when we visit patches of flower-beauty.
Beautiful wild lillies – I can see Rose loves flowers – Happy Spring
She does love spring! Thank you!
Oh my goodness…. how beautiful!
You would love Victoria in the spring!
