Hattie’s Strawberries
Hattie has been keeping an eye on the strawberry plants while the weather warms up.
They are nearly ready in the Quimper Hitty’s yard.
Fortunately she is tending the berry patch of a neighbour while they are on holiday, and their berries are much more advanced.
Breakfast will be delicious with these early strawberries from next door!

Lovely photos, and sweet strawberries to dream for in the upcoming days. Have fun tending them, Hattie! I would assume you might have a nibble every now and then as you “tend”.
Yes – we can hardly believe it is almost June – and the Hittys think the best thing about June is Strawberries!
Yumm!
Yes!
I hope Hattie will share the luscious ripe berries with her humans! Her pinafore is fabulous!
So far the crop is very small, but we are hoping there will soon be enough to share!
ahhh there is nothing better then a vine ripe strawberry. Hattie looks so charming in her pinny. Lovely photos as always.
Thank you – we agree about the vine-ripe berries – the best we ever ate were in Finland!
Gosh your strawberries are so much more advanced than ours! Looks like she is a good little gardener indeed.
She is doing her best to protect them from marauding birds and slugs!
