Lavender Harvest
Patience is helping with the lavender harvest this year….
She sniffs the flowers…
…chooses which stems to pick,
…gathers armfulls of blooms out in the garden…
…and brings them inside to sort. Most are going to hang upside down in small bunches until they are dry, but Patience has saved a couple to put in a little bouquet.

You are welcome! we love our little lavender bush!
Ethereal photos…colors are outstanding as are the flowers, dress and doll too!
It was a very pleasant evening last night, and Patience was in the mood to gather lavender!
Oh how lovely! You can almost smell the exquisite scent! Thank you!
You are welcome! We love the scent of lavender buds too!
Patience has the perfect outfit for lavender picking, so sweet. My English lavender isn’t blooming yet and the French is almost finished.
She loves her new pinafore and dress, they make her want to spend time in purple flowers!
wow, i had no idea how much lavender looked like grape hyacinth… i wonder if i’ve been misidentifying all these years? ours grows out of control though, so probably grape hyacinth. as usual, love to see your Hitty adventures!
I never thought of that association before – what an interesting observation!
Patience is dressed perfectly for lavender gathering. Wonderful photos. Love the colors and I can almost smell that lavender…my favorite scent!
I like it too – the Hittys are all very pleased and happy when the lavender harvest comes in!
Gosh your lavender is flowering already? Wow. Patience looks lovely in her most perfect lavender harvest pinny.
Thanks, we like the pinafore too – the pattern worked out quite well. The lavender is a little early this year – I think it was late June last year. It has been quite dry here, maybe things are advanced because of that?
