The Alders
Balsam
The Quimper Hitty’s Human and their favourite photographer went on a fleeting visit 3 1/2 hours North of the Hitty Cupboard. We stayed overnight in this cottage called “Balsam” which is one of a series of tree-named rustic dwellings at “The Alders” resort…the youngest member of the human family lives just up the hill from here.
Rocking Chair
We are always pleased when the accommodation includes provisions for small dolls. This Rocking chair was just right for Linnea (who lives up here but came for a sleepover in the cabin) and Dulcie (who belongs to the little human but came for a visit)!
Windowsill
We positioned the little chair on the windowsill so Linnea and Dulcie could see the lovely view…

…which was so beautiful that the human went out for a short stroll on the beach…

It was snug, and cosy. If we stay another time I think it will be for a little longer and we’ll bring more provisions!
