This year, Mary and I are having a homespun Christmas. Nothing may be bought except the ingredients for our festive cooking. May we make use of your idea to make a rug for our new, half-carved friend? We hope she will feel up to joining us by Christmas wek and must be welcomed with a gift.
Much love and Christmas greetings,

Thank you so much! We believe in sharing ideas and hope you use this one to make something lovely for your half-carved friend! What a fine idea to have a homespun Christmas!
I especially love this post. My little dog’s name is Gilly, and we have horse images all over the place as blessings to four-legged-ness! 🐴🐾🐕
Thanks very much! We love our little Gillyflower, and she loves the Swedish Horses rug!
We are so impressed!

fantastic! I just love anything with Dala horses, and the woven heart is a lovely Scandinavian touch.
We love Dala horses too, and have quite a collection of them…I acquired my first one when I was about three years old!
OH, so adorable!
Thanks! Gilly loves her new rug, but is thinking of using it as a coverlet!
Beautiful! I love Dala horses. Ever since I was very little I have always wanted to be Swedish!
I was lucky to grow up with Swedish/Finnish Christmas traditions, and I like to practice them on a tiny scale with the Hittys!
That is such a cute rug and so perfect for little Gilly. As always wonderful craftsmanship!
Thank you very much – the felt rug bug has bit me bad!
