St Urho’s Day 2018
A beautiful dawn nudged Ginny and Pip out of their cradle…
.
.
…and down the steps to the great outdoors.
.
.
They climbed up the sapling…
.
.
…and breathed in the glory of the warm sun, blue sky and budding Quince tree.
.
.
Apparently the insects are finding this spring glorious too!
.
.
…but Ginny and Pip lured Mr Hopper away from the grape hyacinths, and home to St Denis…
.
.
…where they plied him with cucumber sandwiches, avocado and tea…
Happy St Urho’s Day!

Me-thinks that Pip and Ginny must be grasshopper whisperer’s.
At least they lured him away from the Grape Hyacinths…Finnish grasshoppers are said to be very fond of grapes!
such fun photos and story. Those two little imps make me smile every time!
They really enjoyed their little clamber around outdoors, their hop home and their restorative cup of tea!
